The Red Wing Shoe Company had an office in Dallas, Texas as early as 1923 to serve the unique market of ranchers, cowboys and oil drilling roughnecks in the region. In 1958, this pull-on, Roper-style boot was introduced & given a new name, Pecos, after a small town in the Permian Basin and since then, it’s evolved into one of Red Wing’s most popular styles, thanks to its simple design, comfortable fit, and rugged good looks.
The 8066 is made exclusively for STAG and is crafted from their iconic Copper Rough & Tough pull-up leather that's built to show highs & lows & will break in beautifully over time. This boot comes finished with an oil-resistant brown Chemigum sole for a sure-footed grip out in the field & their classic Goodyear welt construction to extend the life of each pair by decades. We recommend sizing down by one half size from your average sneaker or Brannock size.
