The Woven Brocade Shirt from Gitman Vintage features one of two textile designs made in collaboration with the estate of renowned architect and designer Alexander Girard. Arabesque embodies Girard’s exploration into fabric weaving during his tenure as the Head of Fabric & Textile Division at Herman Miller and has been used in countless applications from upholstery to wallpaper.
The fabric was reengineered by the brand’s renowned Italian partner mill and each color has been perfectly matched and follows the original blueprint of this iconic pattern. Tailored with Gitman’s classic fit, it runs true to size and comes with a single pattern-match chest pocket, a chalk button packet, and a button-down collar to top things off.
