Fourth-generation Navajo silversmith Samatha Platero continues her family's craftsmanship tradition. Inspired by historic designs and collaboration with other contemporary Navajo artists, Dineh pieces are all authentically produced & handmade in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Traditionally made in full strands, the Navajo Pearl was created in the late 1800s by Native American artists that started to produce beads with silver. Dineh's Navajo Pearl Necklace continues that tradition, but features a modern, minimalist design that focuses on the skillful craftsmanship of each individual bead. The weighty sterling silver beads are hand-stamped & strung onto an adjustable leather cord that can be extended to 16" in length.
