This Boy Scout Keepataw Trail Medal with an ax and arrow head pin was, according to the inscription, given to Scout Mike Tecner in 1967. The Keepataw Preserve is apart of the Des Plaines River preservation system in Illinois that was acquired between 1978 and 1992 and is the site of an old Boy Scout trail that still exists today.
